Quarteto Françaix

Oboe and strings quartet

The Françaix Quartet is made up of Maria Fernanda Gonçalves (Oboe and English Horn), Nikolay Sapoundjiev (Violin), Samuel Passos (Viola) and Emilia Valova (Cello). It is dedicated to the repertoire written for Oboe and English Horn with String Trio. Recently formed, it has played concerts in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo to great acclaim.
