Fernanda Canaud is a pianist specializing in the work of Radamés Gnattali. She is a prominent soloist and performer of chamber music. In 1988 she received a grant to study in Moscow and has received eight prizes in national piano competitions, as well as the Carlos Gomes Medal of Honor for Cultural Merit.
Flávio Augusto is pianist and piano teacher. He has won 28 prizes in National and International Competitions. He has a Master’s Degree from UFRJ, is a soloist and renowned chamber music player and is part of the Trio Aquarius.
Gaia Trio is formed by Sofia Ceccato, flautist of the Municipal Theater Orchestra of RJ, Janaína Salles, cellist of the Symphonic Orchestra of UFF and Erika Ribeiro, pianist and teacher of UNI-RIO. The Trio made its debut recently, presenting a beautiful repertoire of French composers such as Claude Debussy, Gabriel Fauré and Philipe Gaubert, but also including composers such as Louise Farrenc and Cécille Chaminade.
Juliana Bravim holds a bachelor's degree in Oboe from UNIRIO. Her musical initiation was in the band of the Santa Rosa Salesian College. Guided by professor Luiz Carlos Justi since 2004, she participated in exchange programs in Germany and played in great orchestras in Rio de Janeiro. She is part of the Lorenzo Fernandez Quintet and the UFRJ Symphony Orchestra.
Juliana Franco has performed as a soprano in several operas and in front of many orchestras as a soloist, especially with OPES (Petrobras Symphony Orchestra), with whom she has recorded two CDs (one of which won a prize). She holds a Master's Degree in Opera from Maryland University, where she currently is doing her Ph.D.
The pianist Maria Helena de Andrade is a master at UFRJ. He is an intense soloist and chamber musician, having played in major European, North American and South American cities. She has recorded several albums, much praised by expert critics, and has been a judge on several national and international piano competitions. She is a professor at the Brazilian Conservatory of Music and president of the Brazil-Russia Cultural Institute.
Maria Teresa Madeira, is a pianist with a PhD from UniRio. She was a soloist with several orchestras, has recorded more than 30 CDs, including the complete works of Ernesto Nazareth's in 2016, which won a Brazilian Music Award and also one from Bravo.
The pianist Marina Spoladore was awarded in more than 30 national and international competitions. She works as a collaborator, soloist and camerista. She holds a bachelor's degree from UFRJ in Luiz Senise's class and has improved his studies in Germany. Currently, she teaches at UNIRIO and is a member of Abstrai Ensemble and Trio Paineiras.
Mario da Silva is a classical guitarist, teacher and holds a Doctorate of Music from UNICAMP. He gives concerts and lectures on Classical Guitar in Brazil and at the Classical Guitar Festivals in New York, Buenos Aires and Oslo. He recorded 3 solo CDs.
